Who won the online readers' poll of TIME magazine's Person of the Year 2016?
A
Obama
B
Narendra Modi
C
Shah Rukh Khan
D
Putin
Correct Option:
B
Explanation
Narendra Modi won TIME magazine’s 2016 online readers’ poll for Person of the Year, receiving about 18% of the “yes” votes. A useful distinction for exams is that this was the readers’ poll, not the magazine editors’ final Person of the Year selection. The editorial Person of the Year for 2016 was Donald Trump.
