Kandla Port, now officially known as Deendayal Port, is one of India’s major ports and is located in Gujarat on the Gulf of Kutch. Pipavav and Hazira are also important ports in Gujarat, but they are not classified in the same statutory “major port” category. Kakinada is in Andhra Pradesh.
