The southern districts of Haryana, particularly the Aravalli belt covering Rewari, Mahendragarh and the Gurgaon region, contain important deposits of slate and related building stones. Tin is not characteristic of this belt, while dolomite and feldspar occur more selectively rather than matching the stated three-district grouping.
